Description
William Sencabaugh (January 1796 – sometime between 1876 and 1881) was born in Three Rivers but moved to Murray Harbour at a young age, where he would spend the rest of his life. He owned a farm near Guernsey Cove and is listed as having served as constable of Murray Harbour for a number of years. He married Elizabeth Street in December 1818 and they would have 5 children; John, Elizabeth, William, Barbara and Ruhamah.
William Sencabough(Sencabaugh): Born in 1796 on Prince Edward Island, predominantly lived in Murray Harbor. Little is known about Sencabaugh, even in the census records. Sencabaugh must have died a short time after the 1876 survey and had been taken in by either one of his sons or one of his daughters families even before, as he is unlisted in the 1881 census. By the 1841 census Sencabaugh had 9 members in his family, one boy, six girls, and his wife. He was a potato farmer and judging by his word selection and writing style he frequented parties or partook in many parties.
