History Begins at Home

Description
To some people, history is just a collection
of musty information about persons
and times long past, things that
have no bearing on who or what we are
today. For many of us, history means
remembering dates like 1066 - that was
one usually hammered home - without
understanding why we learned them.
But in considering only events that
occurred in far-off times and far-away
places, we forget that history, like charity,
should begin at home.
