Description
This remarkable collection of photographs
was taken in 1906 in Suffolk,
Prince Edward Island, a community in
Queen's County just south of Tracadie
Bay. The people in the pictures were
members of the extended family of
James and Eliza Dover, both of whom
immigrated to this province from England
in their youth. Mrs. Lillie Watts,
(nee Dover), a granddaughter, was a girl
at the time, and remembers clearly the
summer the photographs were taken.
